Policy Library

From policy requirement to trackable responsibility.

Find the policies that matter to you, review what they require, and turn the requirements that apply into obligations someone owns. Tracking is not compliance: you decide what applies.

How it works

Six steps from reading to owning.

The same flow works for any policy in the library, from the public pages to your workspace.

  1. 01Discover

Browse the public Policy Library by jurisdiction, type and category.

  2. 02Understand

Read a policy’s summary, sources and the obligations it contains.

  3. 03Review

Decide for each requirement whether it applies, does not apply, or you are not sure.

  4. 04Track

Track the requirements that apply as obligations in your workspace.

  5. 05Assign

Give each one an owner, a due date where it needs one, and reminders.

  6. 06Monitor

See policy updates and decide what to do about each affected obligation.

Review obligations

Decide what applies to you.

Go through a policy’s requirements one at a time and answer one question: does this apply to your organisation? Recording an answer never tracks anything by itself.

  • Your decision, recorded

Choose Applies, Does not apply or Not sure, with an optional reason when something does not apply.

  • Progress is not compliance

Review progress shows how many requirements you have assessed. It does not say you comply.

Track

Requirements become work with an owner.

Track “Protect personal data during processing” and it becomes an obligation in your workspace, with a source back to the policy, an owner and reminders.

  • Dates that fit the requirement

Continuous requirements need no fixed date. Others ask for a due date or an anchor.

  • A snapshot you own

Tracked obligations are independent of later edits to the library.

Monitor

Know when a policy you track changes.

When a policy you track is updated, a notice appears with the obligations it affects. You choose what to do with each one.

  • Nothing changes on its own

Your obligations stay as they are until you decide.

Important deadlines shouldn’t live in someone’s head.

Give every obligation an owner, deadline and plan.
