Remindash MCP Server

Connect Remindash to your AI assistant

Bring your obligations, deadlines and compliance knowledge into MCP-compatible AI assistants. Ask questions, find what needs attention and securely take action without leaving your conversation.

Requires a Remindash account.

The assistant asks Remindash MCP; Remindash MCP checks who you are, which workspace you chose and what you allowed, then answers from that workspace.

What you can do

Ask Remindash from where you already work.

Stay in your conversation. Your assistant looks things up in Remindash and, if you allow it, does the follow-up.

  • Read

    Find what needs attention

“What obligations are overdue this week?”

Search overdue and upcoming obligations without opening a dashboard.

  • Read

    Understand an obligation

“Tell me more about our annual compliance return.”

Pull up an obligation’s details, owner, due date and context.

  • Read

    Check reminders

See which reminders exist and when they are due to go out.

  • Read

    Explore compliance knowledge

“Find Nigerian data-protection policies in Remindash.”

Search the public Policy Library and look inside a policy’s obligations.

  • Read

    Work with your team

“Who can I assign this obligation to?”

See your workspace members (names and roles) to pick the right person.

  • Action you allow

Take action, if you allow it

“Mark the annual return as completed.”

With the permission you grant, create, edit, assign or complete obligations.

You have 3 overdue obligations and 4 due within the next 7 days. The most urgent is:

Annual Regulatory Return

Due: October 8 · Priority: High

AI assistant

I’ve marked “Annual Regulatory Return” as completed in Remindash.

Permissions

Read-only by default. Actions are your choice.

A new Remindash connection starts with read access. If you want your assistant to do more, you tick exactly the actions you want when you connect. Nothing is switched on for you.

  • Actions are separate and optional

Create, edit, assign and complete are granted one by one.

  • The assistant can’t grant itself more

Only you can allow an action, on the Remindash consent screen.

  • To change what a connection can do, reconnect

Permissions are fixed when you approve. Connect again to allow or remove actions.

Security

Your workspace stays in control.

MCP is a controlled door into Remindash, not a copy of your data. Sign-in is the normal Remindash sign-in; the assistant never sees your password.

  • One connection, one workspace

Every authorization is tied to a single Remindash workspace that you choose. It cannot reach your other workspaces.

  • Your existing permissions still apply

MCP cannot give anyone abilities they do not already have in Remindash. If your role could not do it, the assistant cannot either.

  • Actions are auditable

Changes made through MCP keep you as the person responsible and note the assistant used, so your activity history shows who did what, and how.

  • Revoke access

Remove the connector to end access. It also stops at once if you leave the workspace or the workspace turns MCP access off.

Assistant names are chosen by the application that connects and are not verified by Remindash. Only connect assistants you started the connection from.

Public Policy Library

Bring compliance knowledge into the conversation.

Connected assistants can search Remindash’s public Policy Library, read a policy’s details and look through the obligations it contains. Remindash provides structured compliance information to explore; it is not legal advice and does not decide what applies to your organization.

About the Policy Library
  1. “Find Nigerian data-protection policies.”

Search by country, industry, category or keyword.

  2. “What obligations does this policy contain?”

List the requirements Remindash has structured from it.

  3. “Does it mention protecting personal data?”

    Search inside one policy’s obligations.

How it works

Connected in four steps.

You stay in charge at every step, and you can do it again for another workspace.

  1. 01Add Remindash

Enter the Remindash MCP address in your MCP-compatible assistant.

  2. 02Sign in

Authenticate securely with your Remindash account.

  3. 03Choose your workspace

Select the one workspace this connection should access.

  4. 04Choose permissions

Keep the default read-only access, or explicitly enable the actions you want. Then return to your assistant.

Setup guide

Add Remindash to your assistant.

Remindash is a remote MCP server. Any assistant that supports remote MCP servers with sign-in can connect to the address below.

Remindash MCP address

https://app.remindash.com/mcp

For any MCP-compatible assistant

  1. Find where your assistant adds a remote MCP server or custom connector, and paste the address above.
  2. When asked, sign in to Remindash, choose your workspace and review the permissions.
  3. Leave the optional actions unticked for read-only access, or tick the ones you want.
  4. Return to your assistant and ask about your obligations.

Where this lives differs by assistant and changes often, so check your assistant’s own documentation.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

The Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to other products in a controlled way. Connecting Remindash means the assistant can look things up in Remindash, and take the actions you allow, while you stay in your conversation.
